Typical Christmas cake made with dried fruit, cocoa, candied fruit, honey, spices and white chocolate coating. The sweet for its richness of ingredients and its crown shape has the qualc of regal, hence the name in memory of Queen Maria Sofia of Bavaria who strenuously defended Gaeta in the Piedmontese siege of 1861.
Ingredients: cotognata (quince pulp 49% – sucrose – gelling agent: pectin – acidity regulator: citric acid), sponge cake (EGGS – sugar – WHEAT flour), WHEAT flour (GLUTEN), HAZELNUTS, candied orange, dark chocolate (cocoa mass – sugar – emulsifier: SOY lecithin – natural vanilla flavor), cocoa powder, flavorings. Cover: dark chocolate (cocoa mass – sugar – cocoa butter – emulsifier: SOY lecithin – natural vanilla flavor), dried fruit juice, dried figs, dried cherries.
May contain traces of ARACHIDS, BUTTER (MILK).
